Fueling Success for Wagyu Producers

The Texas Wagyu Association is proud to highlight Livestock Nutrition Center (LNC), a trusted partner helping cattle producers maximize performance through targeted nutrition and expert support.

A Focus on Nutrition and Results

Founded in 1998, Livestock Nutrition Center operates with the central mission of serving livestock producers by maximizing the value of their nutritional investment. Whether your cattle are on pasture or in a feedlot, LNC emphasizes nutrition strategies tailored to your operation’s unique needs — because better feed leads to better results.

Customized Products and Programs

LNC blends custom rations, supplements, and premixes designed specifically for livestock operations. Their product lineup includes premium mineral mixes, protein tubs, custom feeds, and stocked rations — all aimed at supporting animal health and improving cost-of-gain efficiency.

In addition to quality products, LNC provides practical programs such as limit-fed systemsHDN strategies, and on-farm consultations to help producers make informed nutritional decisions.

Building Elite Genetics with Purpose

Dr. Russ Hobbs’ path into Wagyu cattle production is anything but conventional. While serving as a U.S. Navy scuba diver, he was involved in an accident that resulted in a significant back injury. After consulting with multiple doctors, it was chiropractic care that ultimately resolved his issues and changed the direction of his life. Following his discharge from the military due to those injuries, an unexpected opportunity led him to work as a farmhand on a Wagyu operation while he also pursued a career in chiropractic.

That hands-on experience sparked a deep appreciation for cattle genetics and the precision required to produce high-quality, high-marbling beef. Russ immersed himself in the industry, investing in elite bloodlines and proven breeding strategies to build Rebel Wagyu from the ground up, all while establishing his chiropractic practice now located in Grapevine, Texas. Today, with his ranch located less than an hour away in Decatur, Texas, Dr. Hobbs balances both professions—bringing the same discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence to his cattle operation as he does to his patients.
