Celebrating the best in Wagyu genetics, performance, and tradition.

The Texas Wagyu Association (TWA) is proud to host the North American Wagyu Zenkyo at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Brenham, Texas. This premier event will bring together breeders, ranchers, and enthusiasts to spotlight the finest Black Wagyu and Akaushi cattle in North America.

A Unified Effort

For the first time, the American Akaushi Association and Texas Wagyu Association are partnering to advance Wagyu genetics, support breeders, and provide opportunities for youth and professionals to showcase their animals.

Competition Highlights

  • Carcass Ultrasound Competition: Awards will be given to top bulls, females, and steers in each breed based on carcass ultrasound results—valuable benchmarks for marbling potential and carcass merit.

  • Open & Junior Shows: Exhibitors will compete in Fullblood Akaushi, Fullblood Black Wagyu, Purebred (93.75%+), and Percentage (46.87–93.74%) categories. Both open and junior divisions ensure opportunities for breeders at all levels while giving young cattlemen and women a platform to shine.

Registration

All entries must be registered and DNA parent-verified with the American Akaushi Association, Australian Wagyu Association, or American Wagyu Association. Entry fees as follows:

  • $ 50 – Open Show Entry
