It’s time to celebrate the remarkable Wagyu breed at The Big Texas Sale, as the Texas Wagyu Association hosts its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference, followed by The Big Texas Sale. This year’s event is shaping up to be one of the best yet—and an annual event become a tradition for TWA members and Wagyu enthusiasts from across the country.
The 2026 TWA Annual Meeting & Conference will take place May 28–30, 2026, bringing together breeders, industry leaders, and supporters for education, fellowship, and forward-looking discussion. Attendees can expect engaging speakers, meaningful networking opportunities, and plenty of Texas-style hospitality throughout the weekend.
A Legendary Venue
This year’s conference and sale will be held at Billy Bob’s Texas in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards. Known worldwide as the world’s largest honky-tonk, Billy Bob’s is an iconic Texas destination that perfectly reflects the spirit of The Big Texas. With its rich Western heritage, live music atmosphere, and historic setting, Billy Bob’s offers a truly authentic backdrop for celebrating Wagyu cattle and the people who raise them. Select local dinner excursions will also be available, giving attendees the opportunity to enjoy Fort Worth’s renowned dining scene.
The weekend will conclude with The Big Texas Sale, beginning at 6:30 PM CST (7:30 PM EST) on Saturday, May 30, 2026—a highlight event showcasing quality Wagyu genetics and cattle.
