The Texas Wagyu Association is excited to announce that we will have a booth at the 2026 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo — Monday, March 2 through Sunday, March 8, 2026 — one of the largest livestock and cultural events in the world.
This event brings together thousands of ranchers, exhibitors, industry professionals, youth participants, and livestock enthusiasts across three weeks of competitions, shows, rodeo performances, concerts, shopping, dining, and education at NRG Park.
Why the TWA Booth Matters
Our booth at Houston gives TWA a high-visibility presence in the heart of one of the nation’s premier agricultural showcases. It’s an opportunity to:
-
Promote Texas Wagyu genetics and programs
-
Educate attendees about Wagyu beef production and benefits
-
Connect with current and future producers
-
Share information about membership and association resources
-
Strengthen the role of Texas Wagyu in the broader livestock community
Many participants come through the trade show and exhibition areas without yet knowing the opportunities Wagyu cattle present — and that’s where TWA can make an impact.
We Need TWA Member Volunteers
We are asking TWA members to consider volunteering time at the booth during the show.
Whether you can serve a couple of hours or commit to a larger block of time, your help makes a difference.
Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:
-
Greeting visitors and introducing them to TWA
-
Sharing your experience raising Wagyu
-
Answering general questions about the breed
-
Directing serious inquiries to board members or leadership
-
Helping distribute materials and membership information
You do not need to be an expert on every detail. You simply need to be willing to represent Texas Wagyu with professionalism and enthusiasm.
